Calls and hangs up, but caller id says South Bay AFL CIO. I looked up that organization which was same area code but a different number. Claims they aren't involved in this calling people. The number I called and it was a recording telling about the health care and have to sign up for it.
I actually had a call from this number with a person on the other end. It's very peculiar because I am on the do not call registry, it appears that the aflcio is a union organization of which I do not belong to any union and they were offering to help sign me up through california covered also asked me to take down a phone number to give to my friends and famiy in case they need insurance. I currently have insurance and not yet in jepordy of lossing it until businesses start dumping their employee group plans in the exchanges. I believe it's a big time SCAM. If you are in CA go to covered california exchange directly don't use these scammers or any third party.
