Adobe suffered a MAJOR hacking last year, with millions of names and accounts compromised. I'd be very wary of any calls claiming to be from Adobe. If you get one of these calls you should hang up and call Adobe yourself, using a phone number obtained from a known reliable source like Adobe's web site.
Just had a call with this # in the Caller ID. I also have an Adobe subscription with a cc that needs to be updated. My cc information was entered after the dates that I could find of the hack to Adobe (late 2013 if that was the latest), so it seems apparent that the hackers still own the Adobe back-end systems and have unfettered access to their customer and payment information. I did not answer the call. Nice job Adobe for failing to secure your systems and for not notifying your customers of an ongoing security breach.
This phone number is a legit phone number. I called Adobe corporate to find out and they have a customer retension program through billing that calls out when your membership to creative cloud for instance is going to expire. They gave me 2 months free in order to update my billing information. I verified all of this...
Called to offer me something free... "We see you have been an Adobe customer for blah, blah, blah, and we are offering you this training for free." HA! Told them I wasn't interested and hung up.
