I do not answer calls from unfamiliar or unidentified callers. It behooves one to
identify oneself when attempting to contact another. When presenting oneself
at someone's home or business ; especially someone unknown
or not previously introduced, ettiquette requires the caller to present
their calling card or official identification if attempting to conduct business.
When attempting to contact someone by telephone, always have your
Caller ID active. This is the contemporary equivalent of a signed
telegram, a person-to-person operator assisted phone call or a legitimate
return address on a letter. It indicates that the caller is probably a legitimate
entity with no hidden agenda.
It is also wise to call on weekdays before 6:00 PM if possible. Most folks
feel it is rude and inconsiderate to interrupt their privacy on weekends and
during mealtimes.
This is primarily why people pay extra fees to have Caller ID, voicemail and
other security features that help shield them from intrusive and
annoying telephone calls while allowing them to answer or return
important calls from family, friends, business associates or respond
promptly to emergencies.
Please be aware that this numbet is a scam. They are requesting that you send funds via Western Union. I have a close friend who was recently scamed by this number. They have stated it was a number for ebay. PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE.
