Medicare Scam: Caller claimed to be with Rx Assistance, Orlando, FL, representing NuMedCare and some topical pain relieving cream and tried to get my Medicare billing information. He claimed he would coordinate with my doctor to have him write a prescription. He refused to provide an address and said he was just in a call center which is making the calls at the behest of NuMedCare using a predictive dialer. I told him I was on the National Do Not Call register. He said they don't have to check the Do Not Call Register and claimed that his call was not a sales call but a marketing promotion call. That's false, per the law besides being a scam.
