gives all sorts of hits at various phone numbers. So they're using lots of numbers beyond this number. There are lots of annoyed people beyond this thread.

There is no such address. 5632 Van Nuys is in 91401. The Yelp complaints include more phone numbers that they're using.
3. The address 5632 Van Nuys, Los Angeles, CA 91401 keeps coming up. It's either bogus or a mail drop.
4. There are also a string of complaints on Yelp against Amtech Corporation regarding printer supplies. The listed address is 5632 Van Muys Blvd, Ste 507, Los Angeles, CA 91401. There is no Van Muys street. There's a very good chance that they are the same people with a different scam. Amtech sends out invoices which would provide a way to trace them.
5. The American Pro Energy website shows a map with them at 3630 Westwood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90034. That might be bogus but who knows?
OK, so what to do? These people are good at hiding but there are ways to bring them out. One is to play along and set up an appointment. They will contact a solar company who will come to you. You can get his name/card/license number. They will have a way to reach American. Even if you don't take any legal action, the installer will be pissed when he finds out what you're up to and will raise hell with American. After a couple false appointments, they may stop calling. Their toll free number 877-681-3976 is a vulnerability. A fax machine can be set to send them a fax and redial if unsuccessful. That can go on all day.

Received call on 12/6/2016 @ 11:23AM PST from 408-495-2873 with caller ID "San Jose, CA". No message left. White Pages show "Suspected Spam Flagged as Telemarketer"
This caller keeps calling my fax number. Based on the comments here, pretty much a "scam". Unfortunately, I don't have the capability of blocking the number from my fax number (older phone). But thinking about getting a newer phone that allows me to block the number.
