Ugh. LOUD call center. Telemarketer not familiar with English, and calling off an old info sheet (asked for an employee who hasn't been here in about 8 years-and he was an IT director).
When I told him I couldn't transfer him without a current name, he told me "No, you can give me the name so I can talk with them."
The back-and-forth lasted 3 rounds before I told him I had to disconnect the call.
nasty caller-keeps asking for employees that haven't been here for years and complete different departments-just fishing for someone to talk to-kept saying they don't work here anymore been gone for years-he says "well are you going to pass my call or what" told him "no" he hung on anyway-gave him to someone I knew wasn't in.
They called and asked for someone not here. They demanded that I let them speak to the owner. I told them I was the new owner. They called me a liar. I used an air horn from a boat to give them my response...I am sure they are definitely temporarily deaf and hope they are permanently deaf. I always use air horns on telemarketers...they only cost a couple of dollars at Walmart.
It is fun to do, but notice you're still getting them. That's why it's better to ignore the calls completely. Not having anybody who answers the phone hurts these crooks works than getting an airhorn, music, or firecrackers blasted in their ears.
