I received the same message as have a lot of other people but have not found out what to do about it or if it is dangerous to call the # on the message to complain. Texting stop doesn't stop the message that I have received at least 4 time at all hours of the day. My greatest fear is that by calling the number(s) or texting STOP would trigger a charge on my phone bill.
Yes it will cause a charge on your cell phone bill. The first time I received on of these, I texted stop and when I got my cell phone bill (Sprint) it charged me I think $5 a piece. I debated it with Sprint and eventually got one of the charges dropped. I think they do this to collect money in hopes people will text back "STOP". I now go online to the Sprint website and log into my account, then go to preferences and add these numbers to my block list. Most cell phone providers offer this feature too. Too bad I can't block incoming calls from these spammers!! (I still enter their numbers on my block list for txt mesg. though!)
Anybody know how to go about setting up a class action suit? Its obvious this company is illegally soliciting people, and I'm guessing if a formal case gets underway countless people would join in...
This is the 4th message I've received from them, and I've sent STOP every time. I'm now in over a dollar in txt message fees, and I want my money back.
