same here, for about 1.5 weeks.  twice this morning. i called and goes to answering machine.  pesky!

same here, started this month.  twice this morning at 8:00 AM. I called back and goes to answering machine. annoying!

It seems as if it's the San Francisco Chronicle. It didn't initially come through on my caller ID, but then I was going through my recent call list and it showed up as "chronicle." Got two 8am calls and one 5pm in two days. Soooo rude.

Got a call Jan 21 at 6:18 PM and answered it and nobody was there.  Leave it to the liberal San Fran Chron rag to do this.

Received a call from 408-538-5160, the recorded message said to call 866-490-3954. The call came after business hours (7:55 p.m.)to a line that is no longer in normal use. Annoying getting these calls at late evening, but even more annoying that we get them at all. Can't stand these types of calls.
