These pricks, "Cleaners" call my emergency line that is unlisted and on the DNC List. I blame San Bruno Cable for briefly not having my phone on Wednesday when I transferred from AT&T to my local cable company. Don't bother to call me back because you only verify that your phone is a number to be called back. Don't waste your time with that do not call list registry as they have proven to be a waste of time. My only suggestion is to save the phone numbers on a piece of paper and bring them to your local representative during an election year and ask them about improved legislation protecting privacy or imposing new laws enforcing phone privacy laws
I am on the "do not call" list and have called "San Jose Cleaning" back and pushed "2" to receive no more calls. Yet they persist in calling me at least twice a week. I use a call blocking service, which blocks their calls, but the phone still rings once. I am elderly and ill, and sometimes sleep at odd hours and their calls wake me up. I have left messages with them, even talked to a representative who said he would take me off their call list, yet the calls keep coming. How can I get them to stop?
Caller ID originally showed a "toll free number" with a corresponding 8xx-xxx-xxxx. It switched mid call when the answering machine kicked in to San Jose Clean 408-550-1622. I get the Toll Free Number calls all the time and no longer answer and let them leave a message - which they don't.. I used to answer and it was the San Jose cleaners recorded message. I have never seen Caller ID switch like that before. I am on the do-not-call list and have been for years.
They used to call me early in the year, now they started calling me again. I am registered with the "do not call", but it doesn't seem to help, so I use my phone blocker. They just keep using different numbers. Area code 408 is for the San Jose area, about 100 miles from me.
Would I ever hire them? NO. But they just hire idiots to make phone calls for them and they don't get paid if they don't get customers, so they are messing with them as well as the people they call.
Bad company! Very bad
