I answered, woman with heavy Indian accent said she was with an energy saving program, I needed to be a homeowner and have an electric bill of at least 75 dollars, did I meet these qualifications. I hung up. Scam for sure.
Just received a call on my cell from this phone number - 408 554 8313 and the woman with an accent kept on talking like she had oral diarrhea without giving me a chance to say anything. She was barely articulate and hardly understandable. It sounded like she was chirping away saying she was a solar paneling or some sort of home remodeling company, God only knows. I told her I wasn't interested and to take me off their phone list. She wanted to know why I wasn't interested and I told her it was none of her business and hung up on her. I recognized the phone number as they had called me before. I'm on the Do Not Call List but they're rude and intrude over boundaries anyway. I called their phone number back from a different phone and it says it's been disconnected. If I could slam my fist through the phone into their face to stop these unwanted calls, I'd do it.
"Jason Whitaker" asking if I was the homeowner. Obviously a telemarketer. When I asked what he was calling about he hung up. Lame. When I called back, number is disconnected. You would think congressman would be getting these calls too and are just as annoyed as we are so they would actually try and do something about it. I get more telemarketer calls on my cell now than I do regular calls.
