My caller ID showed DIR ASST CA. Answering machine picked it up. I heard lots of voices in the background. None of the words were clear to me. No message was left. 1st time I've seen this number. Called.my landline
This number called me and they told me my email address ( kind of creepy because she knew it ) had been compromised and that hackers were obtaining my computer IP address as we were speaking. I responded with so you are a hacker and are trying to hack my personal information and the not so lovely Indian woman I was speaking with then hung up on me.
Caller ID said "California" caller said "Windows technical support" When I asked to be put on their Do Not Call List because OI don't have anything windows he said "F*@# you then".
The all came in stating it was from California. When i picked up there was a lot of voices in the back ground and the guy on the phone asked if this is (my first and last name)? When i said yes he hung up. What the heck? What is this phone call about? I also tried to call back the number and it had a recording stating that the phone is busy
