Rec'd call Sat afternoon asking if I need any home repair or remodeling. Said they did lots of work in my area. I told him I did not need anything at this time. When he persisted I asked him to mail me a biz card and I would keep it on file. He said he would-to watch for it in a couple of weeks. Kind of a smooth talker-as if we hire unknowns into our homes, I know he got my name from Alameda County records because I do not use my hyphenated name any where else.
I didn't answer the call because I didn't recognize the number and figured it was just another telethief looking for suckers to rip off. Who would ever be gullible enough to let unknown smooth talking thieves like this into their home?
Daily sleaze robocalls lying about doing work nearby. Blocked. Reported to donotcall.gov. Looking forward to the day when phone corps actually, routinely assist in blocking telegarbage.
