This caller made three futile attempts to ring my phone 08-25-16 at 10:44am
Name: Unavailable, other search site says: Landline phone, San Jose Ca. Carrier: Mpower Communications Corp.
Got a call from this number: 1-408-579-5511. There was a long pause after I answered which is my clue that it was a sales call. The guy says, "Is James home?" I say, "No, James is not home." He says, "My dad asked me to give you a call to see if you needed any work done around your house." I can hear all the many people behind him talking, taking calls. I say, "It sounds like you are calling me from a call center. How many sons does your dad have?" The guy responds, "You are a dirty [***]. I am going to pass your number around to my boys and we are all going to take turns calling you and doing you. What do you think about that?" I had to really think about that, but he waited patiently for my answer. So basically the guy has just threatened to group rape me. "I replied, well I don't have any money because of my kids college costs but I don't appreciate you..." He hung up. "
I think I am going to get rid of my land line. I am tired of these kind of calls.
My experience was the same as Tina's, except I was expecting a call from a contractor. I thought this was the call and made an appointment, hence no threats. Then I contacted the contractor and found out it was not him. I called to cancel the appointment and learned the phone was no longer in use! I guess I will get the threats when I refuse to let them in when they come.
