I suspect this is a hi-jacked phone line as the line is very scratchy. They claim to be with a legal department and will inquire about personal information. As they reached our business line, I did not feel obligated to give him information.
I called back, and told him I was not willing to provide ANY information and that his scam was not welcomed. He asked for my number and I told him to look at his caller ID. I was not going to give him anything.
He just said "FINE!" And hung up.
Got a call from this number today stating they were from the united states law dept. Said I owed money and my name and ssn is under investigation. They then said if I didn't return the call I'd be behind bars for 6 months. These threatening foreigners are a bunch of frauds. There is no ULD. Just trying to steal your money from you. Don't waste your time calling back and DON'T give them any information or money! Scam artists!!!
A Mark Johnson called my work telling me that he was an Attorney first saying that he worked for the government and then that he represented cash advance and demanded money and that if not payed immediately the cops were going to show up and arrest me.

HAHAHAH! They called back! This time they had a name! They were asking for the spouse of an employee that left our company months ago.
