I kept getting VM's for an automated "auto warranty" update, which is BS since I have almost 10 years left on my warranty. After a few times getting this, I finally pressed "1" to speak to a representative who asked for my make, model, etc. I instead asked him who the company was, and he hung up on me. On later automated calls I pressed "2" to be removed, but I'm still getting these annoying calls.
This number calls me at least once or twice a day. The recorded speaker always says my car warranty is either
"expiring" or "about to expire". Then it says to press 1 to talk to an agent (happens to be a real person - but doesn't know ANYTHING), or press 2 to be taken off their list. I have pressed 2 before, but they keep calling me back. Just for fun, I have pressed 1. (My car's warranty expired over three years ago, and I do not need another warranty.) I ask them which vehicle this warranty for, to see if they can tell me. And then they want ME to tell them which vehicles I have. And when they can't tell me which vehicle this is for, then I ask them to put me on the "DO NOT CALL" phone list; then they say they can't put me on that list. I said, "Why, you're the ones who keep calling me." And the agent says that it is not them, who keeps calling me, it is another office, who employs them to talk to the customer. So, unless they can tell you specifically which vehicle the warranty is for, DO NOT give them ANY information about your vehicle. THIS IS A BUNCH OF CRAP that either the government or phone company, or whatever company is paying these people, NEEDS TO STOP AT ONCE. All you do is ANNOY us. I am SICK and TIRED of losers like these people. I HOPE YOU IDIOTS AND LOSERS ARE PAYING ATTENTION !!
Also, when you talk to the agent, when they can't tell you anything, they either want to argue with you, or they just hang up on you without any explanation or apology.
These pricks call once a day from different phone numbers without regard to time of day. I believe they got the number from Southeast Toyota Finance or VT World Omni inc. In the future if I do business with this finance company I won't give them my real tel number.
I know it wasn't the dealership because I didn't have this number at the time of purchase.
It could be a dealership where I had the vehicle serviced right before warranty ran out. Said dealership was Toyota Mall of Georgia located in Buford, GA.
The other possibility is that this company(ies) is getting the mileage from the vehicle registration (Orange County, FLORIDA) but I am not sure how they are getting the tel number.
Same recording as yall have by the way. Press 1 to speak to an agent press 2 to remove. Never press 2 but always press 1 and wait for live answer and let them waste resources.
