We get the same calls daily and, yes, when we press 1 the male hangs up on us. Food for thought....This could be fraud! A person that is unwilling to provide company information may have something to hide.
I called the digitcom # and still get the runaround. They say there is nothing they can legally do unless you subpoena them for the company info. I called the 800-464-5446 number and they said I could escalate it to 800-461-6675. You can also fax the info to Ann at Digitcom at (773) 364-8843. Figure if they get enough faxes and calls, maybe they will do something. Yea right.
I can't believe the persistence of the caller(s). I get calls almost daily from a recorded message which I ignored. I finally pressed 1 to get a representative and had a similar discussion as to the make and model of the car, etc. I asked politely to remove my name from the list. The following day I received another call. I spoke to a man and said I had asked that our # be removed. He was rude and hung up. Yesterday, same call. I called the # back from my called ID and got the message that it was for commercial and business calling. Today..same call and I asked for their # (even though I had it on my ID) in the event we got disconnected, and he game me a 1-800 # for a sex hotline and told me to ask to speak with Richard Head....(think about that) and then hung up. I have attempted to block their # from my phone but I just got another call from a different #. What is the purpose of them repeatedly calling people who don't buy into this? HELP!!
They call me all the time. The message always says "This is the FINAL call" but another one comes the next day. I've pressed 9 or whatnot to be removed but it doesn not work. So I pressed 1 and asked them to stop calling me and the [***] who works there hung up on me mid sentence. I called Digitcom and gave them the number. They provide the voicemail and other services for the bogus company, but do not represent them. I gave the number to a very dumb sounding girl and she promised to "fortward it to management".
Same as all the other's who report this auto warranty bullsh--. I pressed one, asked for the name of the company and was "transferred" to a busy signal. When I try to call the number, I get a fast busy signal. Obviously they got my phone# from the dealership I bought my car from. Isn't there ANYTHING that can stop these a--holes????
