someone saying they were from GE Alarm systems called to let me know they were giving away free alarm systems in my area. he asked me if I were the homeowner, and I said yes and that I didn't have an alarm system and I was considering getting...then he hung up. oops, I think I might have fallen victim to a scam. now I'm getting an alarm system tomorrow!
This number just called - when I answered no one there. I am now coming to the conclusion it is the bad guys trying to see if anyone answers; they won't try to break in and rob us since we are having a rash of break-ins these past few months. They also know the police won't respond in a timely manner.
