Received a call to our house phone my mom answered they asked her her name and she said yes & they hung up. Called back later and number was disconnected
The number is spoofed (faked). That's why you get the "disconnected" message when you call back. Scammers and thieves hide behind spoofed numbers so don't answer it. Ignore it, Block it. Never answer calls from numbers you don't recognize or persons you don't know.
