Also trying to identify caller for this number.. 408-618-5180.. I dialed this number back using *67.. The recording says that they are a fund raising company. My Caller ID says.. " I " .. That's it.. just a capitalized i.
got a couple calls from that number. acts like a robocall when picked up. stayed on line, no one answered, quiet a while, then recorded message said something about California police and some numbers.

It's the PAL (Police Activities League) Fundraiser. It used to say that on the caller ID but it changed to and "I". Now just recently it reads just the number for the caller ID. The caller that I get makes me feel like I have to donate or I'll be taken into custody. I just say "no" and hang up knowing that I'll get another call the next evening.
Called twice, I habitually don't respond to numbers I don't recognize and this one is no different. And since I changed my phone number about a month ago with no referral info, I knew this was probably an unwanted robo or some other call. Didn't leave a vm so my suspicions were confirmed.
