Just recently got this phone number. These calls started last week, early in morning before I am awake and late at night. I ignored the number I didn't recognize. Finally called them back asking what they wanted and a woman answered saying they were Convergent Out Source and Iasked what they wanted and they said they were looking for someone named Darlene xxxxxx. I said there was no one by that name and told them it was a new phone for me and asked what kind of business they were, and they said they "handled things for other people". By the way, I'm not sure it was a real name because the last name, was not a name I could find anywhere online. I have told them to stop calling and was told the number was put on the "block list". I just now received another call from the number - which I didn't answer.

wow, this still seems to be a problem. I get roughly the same thing as everyone else. If I pickup no one answers. I tried calling back and "something" picked up, but the audio was really bad and low so I don't know what it was. I just tried again and someone finally did pick up for a debt collection from 3+ years ago that I had disputed and should have been wiped away. It is not even on my record anymore!
I've been getting a call every other day and sometimes everyday to Hawaii, so I took up the number and I see other posts on it. So I block it. Then the next day I get I get another number that looks suspicious. I go through the same process and block it because there's other post regarding that number. It's usually 8-9 in the morning. I did answer it once and I got air. Another time I got someone, but when I started grilling them on the nature of the call they hung up. So now I started posting the numbers. Even if it's a debt collector they need to at least verify themselves. And then again, I'm not one to give sensitive information over the phone debt or not. It still could be someone phishing.
