This scammer must have gotten a read out of those numbers it calls and knows that the worn out outgoing number they are using is useless for now because no one is answering his/her phone; hence, the scammers change their outgoing number to fool people with this new number.   But don't they know that people don't answer their phone anymore unless they recognize the number?  That was a rhetorical question.  I just block them with my call blocker.  In one month's time, I have gotten over 100 calls, but my phone has rung maybe 5 times for new bogus numbers.  Other than that, it's really quiet on my end as far as the phone ringing.  It's nice.
