The Caller ID said "Avantis Medical." When I answered, a man with a thick accent tried to solicit contracting work, wanting to give free estimates for anything to do around our house. When I said we were not interested he hung up in a huff.
Another call today from same number, but CID said AVANTIS MEDICAL. This is a real company in San Jose that sells endoscopy devices, but their website gives a different phone number. UNdoubtedly spoofed. Left no message.
