Ive recieved calls from this number getting a recording about my car warranty...when i called back they said i was not on their preferred customers list so basically they can call me racking up my minutes and i cant even get thru to yell at them about it!
Came up on the Caller ID on our non-public house phone as Nation One
Got the msg, decided to have some fun, pressed #1
The woman came on, asked for my make and model and I said "You called me, you tell me the make and model of my car"
She promptly hung up.
I called back the 408-651-8199 number and an automated system simply says "You've been removed from our list"
If these jack [***] keep calling, take down the exact time/day and what number, promptly file with the FCC for every event, everytime.

Use the email form - put the telco# into the subject, if enough of us send emails with the telco# in the subject, someone at the FCC will take notice, gather up all of the infractions and go after these a-holes.
If they have multiple numbers, most likely they are using something like Vonage where you can have 1 telco# assigned to an IP box and you're allowing to buy "Virtual Numbers" and have them in any area code in any state. Its great if you're a business doing legitimate business and need local numbers, but these a-holes are abusing the system in this scam of there's and they can't hide behind some IP box hung on a broadband connection, the FBI can trace what IP they are using and down to the IP address and go right to whatever boiler-room operation they are running and slap the cuffs on these jerkoffs.
Received one call from this number and two from 562-289-8136--car warranty extension. Just may be co-incidence, but also just had to cancel a credt card because there were fradulent charges from a VerWireless ecars business. Someone had most likely gotten ahold of my card number but not expiration date. Keep an eye on your accts, bank or credit. I've posted this coincidence under 888-294-6804 if it helps anyone.
