got couple of calls to my cell from this number and i do not pick calls from unknown numbers. right away tried to call the same number from another landline number and it says this phone number is not in service
A women with a south east Asian accent called from this number saying that it was for sending out PG&E notification for its customers. I already knew these scammers use such tactics to trick people. Basically told her to stop calling and obey the rules by National Do Not Call registry. She argued that their company call list is legit, and I had to educate her to check the official list.
Yeah, if the above post indicated the call was from PG&E, then the caller would have left a message on my box, and the caller id would have from PG&E, but the caller id was Unavailable. Typical. But I never answer my phone anymore unless I know the number.
