called me today out of the blue. No name in CLI. Only an unfamiliar number. I ignored it. Today has been 5th spam call out of no-where, with different numbers each time.
I travel frequently and use a website for my hotel bookings. You know, that one that has ads on TV. I have been suspecting all year that they give my personal data to telemarketers, as I have received calls for an entire year from these vacation awards...free trip to ...all coming out of area codes from CA. I think I'm going to stop using their website. Also, I agree with the previous poster - I think these are cover stories for the real reason for these calls.
