No one was on the line when I answered; probably testing for a live number. I called the number back, just to see who and found it to be "not a working number." Had this same sequence happen before, so . . .
Caller was a man with an Indian accent. He said his company had been hired by my power company to inform me that my rates were going up and that he had a special deal to offer me. I hung up on him.
Woman on (my cell) phone very persisitent about selliing solar/solar initiative, talked over me when I asked to have the number removed. Hung up on her.
Yes, I like my Panasonic and being able to block 250 numbers - but in less than 3 months it's almost full!
Consumer's Report is trying to help us get rid of all these robocalls.
