I believe this is one of MANY calls I've been getting since we applied for our USDOT Number.
With in SECONDS of clicking "Submit" on the website, calls from all over the country have been pouring in.
Now I don't even pick up numbers I don't recognize.
Even if I WANTED to do business with one of these companies, I wouldn't because of the MASSIVE amounts of spam Telephone Calls and Faxes I've been getting.
I've had to start reporting these calls to the FCC and the SPAM Faxes to the FTC (Or Vice-Versa, I forget offhand who goes to whom.) since my telephone number is on the National Do Not Call Registry.
So, if you work in the Transportation Industry or have recently applied for a USDOT Number, this call was most likely those sh*t-bags trying to rip you off or solicit your business.

One of the MANY callers starting just seconds after applying for my USDOT Number. These calls started from various company's trying to illicit business that I can do for myself. The calls started up again weeks later when I applied for my Motor Carrier Authority. Scoundrels scraping for money is what they are. The calls should stop once you get settled in and have everything filed that you need to.
