Who called from 4087409556

Same as everyone else, got a txt from 408-740-9556, instantly googled it and came across this site.

I conifer this is a scam. I just got hit up saying all the exact information. This person texted me from a 678 area code and that same email. Red flags!!!

Inquired about my car on kijiji asked a few normal questions like when it was last serviced and how long I've had it for. Then told me to send information through paypal and an invoice to his email [email protected] and he would arrange a pick up of my car after payment has gone through. Scam.

Today, I got the same message about my car on Kijiji. The contents are given below.
I have just completed the payment and i expected paypal to have
notified you to this effect.check your mail folders(inbox,spam and junk
mail) i sent $12,500 in all.i added $1,500 but $1,500 will be sent to my
pickup agent headquarters in United State through western union at post office.
PayPal will not release the fund until you email them the
western union details for verification,and also to enable my pick up agent
to come for pick up and inspection.Here is the agent's details where the money
will be sent.

please get the necessary details sent to PayPal (Money Transfer Control
Number)MTCN and senders name and address used to send the $1,500 so that they
