Originally emailed me from [email protected] and pretended to be a potential customer of my company asking for a quote, and also asked for a cell number.  I spent time drafting a quote and following up with him and sent him my number. He texted me from (408) 741-6867 and I tried to call him after a few texts to close the sale, but there was no answer or voicemail, it was just complete silence.  He texted me again and said he was having trouble with his phone and had a "favor to ask of me" telling me to check my email again. In the email he asked if he could pay almost 3x the amount of my quote, take out my fees, and send the rest to his "project consultant", an unknown party.  I told him that nobody does business this way and any payments for our services will be between him and my company only.  He responded "okay" and stopped responding to anything else.  NICE TRY SCAMMER!!!
