A Liet. Lynn Taylor called me on my cell phone- said I ordered diet pills 8-9 years ago and told me my address (where I lived back then) I denied it all- she said she could get me a "second chance" and I would only have to pay $3200.00 within 1 hour- and she had people watching me!! I believed her until she told me all this about the money- she was very bold- very scary- very authoritative!!! I told her I'd have to :"look her up" and see what was going on- then I hung up on her. I called the number back that she called from- it was an answering machine message in her voice, with "liet. Lynn Taylor" in the bronx, NY. the "DEA" agency!!! What a SCAM!!! I called the police and they said it was a scam!!!
This is a scammer posing as a DEA agent. Beware! They are threatening and try to be very intimidating, but thankfully, I was suspicious. She said there were agents outside my place of business waiting to arrest me for ordering an Rx drug without a prescription 5 years ago and then I REALLY figured it was a scam. She tried very hard to intimidate me by threatening jail time and what it would do to my career and family. While I was very suspicious, I could not help but be a little freaked out as she was pretty convincing, especially since she called me at work and knew my name...luckily she was not convincing enough! She said she could put me on hold and try to get help to give me a second chance or she could just give the signal for her agents to come in and arrest me. I figured the "put me on hold" bit would be the beginning of the scam to try to get money out of me, so I said that I would need to seek the advice of an attorney and she quickly said that she was giving the signal to have me arrested and I said "ok" and she hung up. My caller id showed snjs 408-775-7959 and she used the name Lieutenant Lynn Taylor.
I got the same call. I ordered RX online years ago and this scam happened to me a couple times. Somebody got a hold of the list of people and their #'s whom ordered before and they're trying to scam them out of money. Now that I'm onto them I like to have a little fun with them. One I told them I was soooooo scared I would do anything to get out of it, and that I had a lot of money. She gave me all the info where to send the money and she went to the moneygram to pick it up!! HAHAHAHA. Another one I asked her if I could send her a picture of my [***] before she arrests me!! great fun!!
Told her that I have been waiting with my front door open for her to come by and arrest me since I have been getting the same call for over a year. She hung up on me immediately.
