Been calling all morning. Driving me crazy. The message doesn't even use proper grammar. Finally called them four times myself. Indian accent. First time the man hung up quickly once i started on him. Second time a man threatened that police from the irs would be at my door in 45 minutes since i told him to remove me from the call list. Third time a man told me they didn't call and i told him i had recordings and call records and i was going to call the police for harrassment. Fourth time a man just pretended to make noises that he couldn't hear me.
This is a scam....IRS will not make phone calls to anyone. They are a call center overseas. All Indian accents. They all use "American legends names like it came out of a history book". I've called them back multiple times to mess with them so now my number is block from their call center. Lol.
