It probably really is not Bay Area News Group exactly, but a company contracted by them to sell newspaper subscriptions, but unfortunately they don't leave any voice mail.
A message was left by someone claiming to be from the IRS and requesting that I or my lawyer return the call or face legal consequence. I looked up the number and it's a non fixed VoIP which I found out is a disposable number that can be attached to any address so I think it's a scam
