I too got several calls today from this # 408-900-9700. Just ignore these calls. I talked to an attorney a while ago regarding similar calls. He said no one can arrest you at home or at work for these false alegations. I hope there will be a special place in hell for these morons!!
THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING MY CELL. I PUT A BLOCK ON IT AND NOW THEY ARE CALLING MY WORK. CALLING MY SUPERVISOR SAYING I'M A CRIMINAL. STARTED CALLING ME A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO WITH A DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER. THAT NUMBER IS NOW DISCONNECTED. I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE FCC AND OTHER AGENCIES BUT IT HASN'T DONE ANY GOOD. IT IS EITHER A MIDEASTERN OR INDIAN ACCENT. FIRST HIS NAME WAS VICTOR MAXWELL THEN DURING CONVERSATION IT BECAME JEFF MORGAN. MY BOSS TOLD ME TO NOT ANSWER OR JUST LEAVE THEM ON HOLD. HE KEPT CALLING BACK BEING ABUSIVE. ANOTHER FORM OF TERRORISM.
I have gotten the same phone calls, and he told me that I had gotten a cash loan on-line... I told him he is bull-[***]. When I asked him his Lawyer license number he hung up on me....Names he used, Jeff Morgan,Paul Mixon..
I received a call earlier today from Officer Ryan Smith, claiming that my social security number (which he had) had a lawsuit against it. They also called my work phone number and continue to harrass me on my cell phone despite numerous statements that I refuse to speak to them until someone mails me paperwork documenting what debts they say I owe. When I called the number back it was a voicemail for Jeff Morgan. I've filed complaints with the FTC and with IC3 (www. IC3.gov). If they call again I will tell them again that I refuse to speak to anyone on the phone about any debt. They are required by law to send documentation in the mail. Granted this is a scam so they do not have documentation, so hopefully they stop calling soon!
Got a call from same number. The guy left an extensive message that I can hardly understood. He has a Middle East accent. He might be from India. He said that there is a lawsuit against me. He mentioned somebody else that I do not know (Susan.) I got these calls before. They are scams. They have prepaid phones. Don't pay attention to their nonsense!
I got a call on my cel number then a message on my work number they have my social as well claiming they have a law suit against me they claim to be an attorneys office Holland & Hall alos sounds like a mid eastern accent I told him to send me documetation he claims toolate for that. I told him i contacted my attorney he said doesnt matter there is nothin he can do for me now. He left a mess at work for me on my voicemail wising me good luck I am gonna need it. I have not reported this yet. Trying to figure out who to complain to. This is so aggravating
