Ok...you just proved you cant read...i said it was deducted from my check...from work...i have never had a bank account or a credit card...i dont own a house or car...i rent an apartment and have been here for 4 years. I have no idea how someone received my information (unless it was my ex husband). I contacted legal aid but they said they could not help me. I have 4 kids and work full time so please get over yourself calling me a scammer...all i need is some guidance as how to handle this. I do not for the life of me understand how we can have help sites but when one asks for help they get accused of being something they're not...its really heart breaking.
I believe you michelle...the same thing happened to my boyfriends mom last year...there is something you can do...but its a long process...first you have to go to the irs and let them know that your identity may have been stolen...they eill open an investigation...you have to provide them with any information the people gave you for the "lawsuit". She has a judgement of over 2000 dollars against her...when their investigation is complete they will give you back the money stolen from you...good luck!!
