I got a call this afternoon on my cell at 3:23PM, I too am a Realtor. I have learned if they can they will use your information through NAR for charging you items in the system you have not ordered. I was charged years ago for Realtor.com, my company use to pay for it. They rolled it over into my name and I had a $760 Bill! I did not know at the time that NAR owned Realtor.com. They were not happy to learn that their people were automatically charging Realtors without their permission. I did get a refund, after complaining to NAR.
i got a call from 408/916-1449 and they called be by my name. then they just hung up. when i tried calling back, the number didn't go through.really weird.
I am a realtor and have been getting a LOT of calls recently on my direct line at the office. I think a marketing company spiders the web for our numbers from company websites. I've learned not to answer strange area codes and the callers never leave a message, then I come here and check it out and every time it's a scam caller. I think it's a test to see if they have a live #.
