Got a marketing call supposedly on behalf of zScaler - woman was Indian and was very polite, but had some odd phrasing here and there, not particularly suspicious. She was offering an invite and information to a webinar to be held on 2/5/13 @ 1PM EST for zScaler security solutions. I agreed to have her send info, but declined her offer to actually register me for the webinar. Within minutes of her hanging up, I received an email invite from "Vaibhav Tyagi" (
[email protected]) to a webinar dealing with IT Outsourcing, text below. It was very suspicious that he person confirmed by email details and then this email arrived. Within a minute or two of that, I received yet another phone call from 860.598.0220, who rang me twice and then hung up. According to this site it is a trade industry magazine subscription sales pitch. Very suspicious - I get the feeling they used the false pretenses in the phone call to validate contact info to send these other offers:
