I am sick and tired of getting calls from these scams wanting to lower my credit card rates!!!! Can't someone stop this?!?!?! They even call my cell phones!!!!!!!
I have been reporting this to the FCC for some time now, but it doesn't seem to have any effect.
The only recourse left is to dial *67 (to block your number) . They will not answer, but the call will go to their answering maching. Simply let it record for as long as you can afford. Maybe that will stop or slow them down.
I frequently get calls from this number. The recorded message offers to lower my credit card rates. When I reach an operator, they refuse to identify who they represent. When I ask to be removed from their call list, they hang-up. They are phishing for credit card information.
