Received a text message from 409 200 4785, said my Credit Union Card de activated and asking me to call 408 256 8684, I went to my Credit Union Bank and shown them the text message, the credit union member tell me to ignore this message because it is completely false and scam
Received a text message said a card with a certain prefix had been deactivated and that I must call at once. Went to the internet and checked out VARCFCU and got the following ALERT.
"ALERT - Please be aware that text messages are being sent to call a number regarding your account or MasterCard or Visa debit card. These messages are not from VAROFCU and we will not attempt to contact you in this manner. Please do not respond to these messages. "
Received a call from the number above about deactivated credit card and requested to call 254-304-3360. Received the same thing from different numbers a couple of nights ago. Call from 203-508-3575 and asked to call 254 304-2258. Need to get these stopped; they are all placed to my cell phone.
