I've been called by them twice. The first time, I answered "4192 nonsecure, identify and authenticate". A confused man asked me "Is this Ray?" I repeat my one line, they hit some buttons on their keypad because I hear the tones. We go along like that for 5 minutes before he hangs up. The Indian callers usually give up in 15 seconds, so that person....was really down there.
The second time, I did something far worse. I had a woman call me, so I turned it into a little naughty time with the phone "What are you wearing?" "Oh, that sounds hot, say it again for me." I was interested to see how far she would take it, and she took it pretty far. So glad it was on her dime.
They call several times a week asking if I am getting my Fine Cooking subscription and then tell me I am entitled to a free subscription to the Rachael Ray magazine. I've asked them repeated to stop calling, but they keep calling anyway. I will now block them, but I'm not sure it will do any good. Definitely a scam.
This line has called several times a day with only a fax-like beep sounding on the other end when calls are screened and not picked up. I reported this to Verizon's Unlawful Call Center as a Verizon landline customer. Because this is a number that calls repeatedly day after day, several times a day, they are setting up a trace for 2 weeks. (The number is not a Verizon number so they have no info on it.)
found Jasper Texas calls several time a day for a couple of week. Lets get together and class action and sue! his butt getting real tired of this and others that do this. Reporting them does not do any good
They said they were calling from medical benefits and that our insurance company approved a back brace for back pain. Wanted up to call back to place our order. Scammer!
