This number 409-209-4243 has been calling my cell phone all hours of the day and night for about 8 months now. Even after midnight! Luckily I have a call block program that only allows people on my contact list to call my cell phone. All other callers my phone answers the call then hangs up on them. My phone doesn't even ring. My block log is full of this number. It has over 100 calls from this number in the last 3 months alone. Some law enforcement agency needs to take these jerks down!
EVERY day since early April, I get AT LEAST 1 call from 409-209-4243, with caller ID reporting it to be calling from Kountze, TX. For me the call is silent and will hang up at 3 seconds every time.
Using the information that Anon provided above (via the reverse IP lookup), I have contacted Birch communications. It is possible that the Scammer that is calling us is merely a client of theirs, as Birch provides VoIP services to businesses.
I filed a complaint with the FCC as I suspect either Birch (C-Beyond) or the scammer is in violation of the "Truth in Caller ID Act of 2009." The birch website offers a "service area" map for Texas, and the city of Kountze is NOT within those service boundaries.
I urge anyone else that i on here to post a complaint to also visit the FCC website to file an official complaint against the number. I provided below a link to the FCC complaint form as well as a copy of the "Truth in Caller ID Act of 2009."
