Received call from Texas at 9:12 a.m. Central Time on 10/06/2015. Didn't pick up but got a voicemail. An overly cheery, prerecorded man's voice congratulated me on my request for a pay day loan being approved. The voice itself was a dead giveaway that the call was a con, plus I've never applied for a pay day loan. Don't bother picking up. If you get a VM, just delete it. Don't waste your minutes. BTW, didn't get the company name because I deleted the VM before hearing it.
Call came in at 9:30 a.m. my time, Eastern, which means they were already making calls at 8:30 a.m. their time. I didn't answer, since I never answer a number I don't recognize. They left a robo-message, congratulating me for recently applying for a payday loan, which I've never done, and telling me how much I was eligible for. Blocked the number, sooooo... another one bites the dust!
