I answered the call today and they stated they are looking for police officer donations. They had my home address and asked if they could mail an envelope to me to make a donation.
Soliciting donations for the Texas State Troopers Assn.
Not legit. They are a real organization but very little of the money they collect goes to any needy trooper or real trooper organization. Most, over 80%, goes to the telemarketer company. per Yahoo Answers
I got a call from this # today. Now they have gone from Texas State Troopers to Soldier Support. Why don't they spent their time and effort looking for a real job, instead of stealing from decent folks?
