409-299-3653 is scammer on craigslist. talked me out of pulling an item off Ebay, and sell it to him for couple hundred dollars over the listing price but not buyout.
[email protected] is what he contacted me at first, then wanted my phone number. He said he would be paying me more than what we agreed upon which sounded weird, and he said the extra money I should send to his shipper VIA western union. After that he send's multiple emails with a spoofed email address looking like this:
[email protected]® <
[email protected]>
9:39 PM (14 minutes ago)
to me, bcc: me
PayPal
So from first glance it looks legit, but in paypal nothing has changed, and I noticed his email address where paypal was. This email gave instructions to send money etc. etc. etc. [***] idiots. Stay away from selling any item through paypal, or online when posting on craigslist. I will be reporting his account to gmail, and packet tracing to his public IP.
