Got the same message from a different number, 254.647.4152, claiming the same thing. I don't know how credible this person is. I called and he did not pick up. It was a texting app called Textnow.

ok so i had this happen today. it was from a 903 number. i am a very skeptical person, went along with his interview via text. in the end he wanted to do a test run. say tomorrow morning, and it was the same. a usaa account. i aske alot of questions and he gave very general answers to.and in the end he needed me to download a software called teamviewer so that i could meet with his account officer an would be directed on how to open the account. well i being skeptical and looked up the soft ware which ultimately it gives the other user to have complete control of ur computer but on their end. kinda suspicious i ended the conversation saying i had to go and that i was still interested but could we do this tomorrow. (this giving me time to do some research. ) well there is no dennis preston that is of public record right now. well atleast not in the military ALIVE. there is however a dennis preston that is a proffessor in michigan. now there is a preston j dennis in the military that pops up age 23 but he is desceased. soooo idk. is this an opprotunity of a life time to make some verrrrrry much needed money that me n my family could use... maybe... but im not willing to risk it. so even though the guy seemed to be very nice via text... im not naive. my ex father in law just got scammed about 3 weeks ago from someone in texas wanting to buy furniture off craigslist. .. the gentle man sent him a cashiers check.. with extra on it to pay the movers... but aske that my ex father in law wire the remaining balance via walmart or western union....well he did it. berfore even depositing the cashier check. when hewent to the bank they told him it was fake. he was out 900$. also have heard of these people depositing money into ur account with extra and ask that u wire it back to them then come to find out that the money that they deposit came from someone elses account... which is how they get their money by you wiring them the money... its all kinda crazy and quite sickening people r that desperate.... i have kids and a family that i have to care for and times get verrrry hard but i would never do anything to put anyone elses life in parrel... sad.
