I've also received this same call regarding blood thinners and taking anxiety medication during pregnancy (I haven't done either). I kept telling him I haven't done any of that and he hung up.
He said he was with what sounded like Fake Medical Department and wanted to talk to me about compensation for taking these drugs.
Smells like a scam to me.
Received a call from this number, caller sounded Indian and stated they had information about a medical compensation for anyone who had taken the blood thinner Xarelto for blood clots. I responded by saying that I've never had a blood clot and hung up.
You can go to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx to report it. I also use the Block call feature on my phone, I have an iPhone 5S.
This guy has called twice - the first time my husband told him I wasn't home and the second time I talked to him. He claims to work for the State of California Health Dept and is prepared to send me a large sum of money. He claims to have gotten information from my state about blood thinners I may have taken for surgery. I told him I don't remember and I specifically asked if he worked for the California government and he said yes. I expect he will call back. The 409 area code is Texas.
