Received call at 6:46PM CT on Aug 3, 2010. Live person asking for non-existent person. I kept asking who and which one. She kept repeating name, finally said something I couldn't make out to someone else on the other end, and hung up. I called number back today and got a long-winded recording that said they were Donor Services Division and their hours were 8-5 M-F CT (I called at 3:00 PM CT) and how great they were blah, blah, blah. After several minutes of patting themselves on the back for representing every charity or money-needing cause under the sun, they offered an option to be removed from A SPECIFIC CHARITY'S CALL LIST *IF* YOU KNOW THEIR NAME. Since they didn't bother to identify themselves (Isn't THAT illegal?) how the hell would I know which one of millions they claim to represent that they were calling for? There is an option to list everyone of their clients, but that's a waste of time as I still wouldn't know which one they allegedly called for. So when asked which one I said, "EVERY ONE OF THEM!" And there's a whole lot of unnecessary confirming that you did confirm whatever you said or you entered crap. And NO chance or choice to speak to a person. Lots of other complaints about the same outfit, but different phone numbers, all over the Internet. Telemarketing scammers - without a doubt.
