I received a disturbing and threatening phone call from a law firm stating I owed Americash company unpaid interest payments. I was afraid and called back the number thinking it was real, but upon speaking with the person I knew it was fraudulent. They even got my full time work number and called there demanding for more information about me. They were trying to get payment from my workplace. They asked me to purchase a greendot card and deposit the money that way, then call them back with the numbers on the card.
I received the similar call about time sensitive matter and I needed to respond within the hour and make a payment or else they will have a warrant for my arrest.
Called me at work spoke broken english asking for my lawyers information. Gave me a supervisor who said sherrifs were on way to my job to arrest me for a loan taken with americash... set up some deal didnt take any banking info said to get a money pak card from walmart and load it on 3 dif paydays with $200 each time $522.12 + late fee = $597. Well today is payday and I'm not doing it after all I've just read. Something didn't seem right so I checked the phone #.
