my boyfriend received a call from this number and he answered it. all it was, was a recording saying "please hold, a representative will be with you in a minute. your call is important to us". i know here someone said it was NCO, but on another site a girl said that when they answered it was a woman claiming to be checking up on fraudulent check charges and started asking for a whole bunch of personal information. when the girl refused to give her personal information because she was uncomfortable with it, the woman on the phone told her to call the number on the back of her card. the girl did and they told her there were no charges or anything to worry about.
i don't know, but this number is weird. and if it was NCO they would leave a message with your registration number/information so you could log online and check to see what you owe and to who.
I recieved a call from my ex he said it was a prepaid phone he was calling from and wanted to know why i was not answering all the time ????? I do not answer # i do not know so some may be people you know and when i called an agent who sells them he said that is one of the many numbers that show up from a pay as you go phone or they can be changed by the caller to what ever number they want ... so buyers and answerers beware
