Got a text from this number At 2 am ca time saying:

msg:7oc

I have no idea who this person is or what the MSG means. I have AT&T iPhone.

I asked who this is..

MSG:.. . . .


I asked how they got my number..

MSG: I have my ways.

my text said 1 of 4...i didn't open it and deleted it after seeing you guys were suspect too. Thanks for sharing!

Have received text from this number asking about puppies we have advertised for sale. Now wants my email address. I'm blocking the number.

I got a message that appeared to be from a good friend from this number - even had his email address.  No message attached.  A few weeks ago I got another from a similar number that also had the email address of someone I know.

Not sure where these things are generated or how they get valid sender info....should I be concerned?
