Who called from 4102140186

This is a solicitation for the Maryland FOP.  Apparently these fundraisers are exempt  from the Do Not Call list.  Advise ignoring calls from this number.

CalledCaller ID is "not available".  Answered call and no one there.

This number calls every day at or right around 1:20pm. Caller ID says 'Rising Sun MD'. I haven't answered, nor do I intend to but if it IS the organization collecting for the FOP as stated above than this is the 3rd number they have called me from in the past year. I answered when they called from the first number and was interrogated as to why I wouldn't donate and then demanded to.be taken off there list. Two months later calls starte8iid coming in again from a different number and confirmed it was thr FOP from several posts on here, so I answered with 'Stop calling I'm not donating.' Now it's been about three months so I'm sure its them again.

Agree with all the above statements. The person who calls is very agressive. I am disabled  & was very sick. I had just taken my oxygen mask off to answer the phone. No ID. I felt so bad & explained to call back at another time. He had me in tears before the end of the call. They say its recorded. No organization would or should except this behavior. Hang up. Not showing on caller id should not be allowed.

Just got a call from these folks and agree, they are aggressive and attempt to use the fact that they are from the FOP like we're supposed to be scared of them. Lot of broken people in positions they shouldn't be in folks and it's only going to get worse. I just hung up on them as soon as they said, put them in my blocked caller file and feel good know they are being immediately disconnected with a pleasant "Goodbye" message. :)

Google phone answering machines, get one that has an unlimited blocked number feature such as IVM Answer Attendant or one of the free ones that has this feature and get a good Voice/Fax/Data modem. Yes, you have to leave your computer up, but once an unwanted, annoying callers # is in your list all you have to do is wait for the a set # of rings before answering if you can't see the CID. If it rings more than you set number of rings (I have mine set to 4, it it boots them after 2 when the CID comes through) you know it's a caller not in your list and may be someone you want to talk to....
